Hello there lovelies!
Today I am reviewing some water decals from Born Pretty Store.
You might also catch a glimpse of a new polish that will be on the blog this week, too.
These are the water decals I am reviewing today. You can find them HERE and they run $4.99 for this sheet. They are the standard water decal application.
I really wanted to love these, but they caused me some problems. As you can see, they didn't want to lay flat at all. Some parts (my pinky) seem almost shredded from the top coat, too.
I applied these to a dry nail and when they looked flat I applied my top coat, thats when they started pulling back up. I think I am going to retry them at some point putting them on a tacky top coat and seeing if that helps with the curling.
These are a foil consistency, so it's possible they need a different application than I am used to. But unfortunately the back of the package had instructions in another language, so that wasn't helpful at the time. I wasn't sure I wanted to post this review as it's not very flattering for myself or the decals, but I just didn't have the time to try it again, and in the vein of honesty, most people won't either. But maybe you know some tricks or have had better luck with these! They are beautiful and very well made, design wise. If you can get them to work for you they are a gorgeous addition to your nails! Below is my Born Pretty Store coupon code if you want to give them, or anything else, a spin and save some dough!
